Today I am sharing a Post Specially Pregnancy or Nursing Mothers Weight Loss Diet Plan, but this diet plans also used by all gender and age limit people. Start your day with Cardamom water. It is one of the safest and one of the best, belly fat cutter drinks. The only ingredient we need to make this drink is Cardamom Pods. Cardamom (Elaichi), is an aromatic spice, with loads of healthy essential oils. Cardamom is diuretic in nature and helps flush out extra water through urine. It has melatonin which speeds up the fat-burning process in the body.
Cardamom can help you attain a flat belly as it helps get
rid of fat accumulation in the abdominal region. Take 2 Cardamoms and crush
them using a mortar and pestle. If you don’t have cardamom pods, then use 1/2
tsp of Cardamom Powder. Then take a cup and shift both, the peel and the seeds.
Next, fill the cup with warm or room temperature water. Cover this and left for
overnight. Next morning, drink the water and chew along the cardamom peel as well
as the seeds. This drink looks absolutely simple, but tastes very refreshing
and works wonders so do not underestimate the power of it.
For breakfast, have a portion of chia pudding with fresh
fruits or 2-3 eggs, either boiled or in the form of an omelette. Chia seeds are
safe to consume while pregnant or breastfeeding period. Chia seeds may also
boost your breast milk supply naturally. This is a great source of calcium,
fiber, fatty acids, etc Eggs are a postpartum woman's, superfood! They are
affordable, protein-rich and deeply satiating to a depleted body. Don't forget
to have Egg yolks as they contain vitamins A, D, E, and K, folate, B12,
choline, and omega-3 fats. Mid-morning, have 3 dates and a handful of nuts like
almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, etc. Dates help restore energy after the
childbirth process. They also facilitate the production of breast milk and
smooth, bowel movements.
Nuts are a healthy and wholesome snack that can be eaten in
between meals. They are packed with healthy fats, antioxidants, protein, iron,
calcium, zinc, and vitamins. For Lunch, have weight loss porridge from my
channel along with a cup of green tea. This porridge or khichdi is like a
one-pot meal, it has everything starting from carbs to protein, to calcium to
vitamins as well as minerals. This porridge is highly nutritious and safe for
all including PCOS, PCOD, Thyroid, Diabetics, Pregnant as well as Nursing
Mothers. To make this porridge, we need Broken wheat, Brown Rice Split Green
lentils and Pearl millet in equal quantities. + 2 seeds, carom & sesame
Take all these in equal quantities, for example, 100 grams each. Then add 10
grams of White or Black Sesame Seeds or Till and 4 gms i.e. about 1 Tsp of
Carom seeds also known as Ajwain. Now mix all well and our Weight Loss Porridge
mix is ready. You can store it in an airtight container. Now let’s make the
porridge. Take 50 grams of this mix in a container. Pressure or slow cooker
works best for this recipe as these grains take time to cook.
Well, if you don't have a cooker, then you can always make
it in a pan too, it would just take a little longer to cook. I Washed the mix
thoroughly to make it free from any contaminations and recommend the same to
you too. Next add 400 grams of water and add salt as per taste, close the lid
and let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until it's done. Ready... Alternate to
this porridge is Oats Flatbread with any Green Vegetable Recipe. The 1st
ingredient we need is a no-brainer - Oats. I have taken rolled oats, however,
you can also choose quick oats or steel-cut oats. I have taken 1 cup or
approximately 115 gms of oats. Shift the oats to a grinder and make a fine
powder. Grind till you have this texture. Another easy option is to buy oat
flour and use it. I’ll link it below in the description box in case you wish to
buy. Oats do not have taste of their own so to add some flavor and nutrients, I
have taken half an onion, 1 green chilli - mine is hot Thai chili, so 1 is
enough, 2 garlic cloves, if you are not a garlic person then you can always
reduce it to 1 and 3-4 tbsps. of chopped bell peppers, I am using red, you may
use any color. Feel free to add veggies and herbs of your choice, like
cilantro, mint leaves, green onions, carrots etc. Cilantro goes well in this
recipe however I couldn't find the fresh ones in the stores, so had to skip it.
Now finely chop all these veggies. Look how fine and evenly
these veggies are chopped. Now shift the oat flour to a mixing bowl along with
the chopped veggies. Next, I am adding 1/2 tsp of Carom seeds or Ajwain. Next
is 1/2 tsp of Cumin Powder. And in the end, add Salt to taste. I am adding
Himalayan Pink Salt. Mix all using a spoon or a spatula. Now we will make the
liquid dough. For this, take 1 1/2 cups of water. Initially add 1 cup of water
to the bowl and mix well. Then leave the batter for 10 mints. After 10 mints,
the batter will thicken a bit because of Oats. Adjust the seasoning and add
some more water if needed and mix. The consistency of our liquid dough should
be like this. Now heat a non-stick pan. Once the pan is hot, add a ladle full
of liquid dough. Spread evenly like a pancake. Next, cover the pan with a lid
and cook for 1 and 1/2 mints. Remove the lid and you’ll see that it is leaving
the sides.
Now give a flip to the flatbread. Now cook for a minute. Press with a spatula in intervals to ensure uniform cooking, Flip once again and cook for 20-30 seconds, and our weight loss Liquid Dough Oats Roti is ready. In the evening, have a savory snack made with either Chickpeas or Lotus Seeds. Some foods, like the chickpeas, can help in increasing breast milk production. Chickpeas are also extremely nutritious as they are rich in iron, fiber, vitamins and other nutrients. Lotus seeds on the other hand, can help boost immunity, and relieve depression, stress & anxiety. They are high in protein and have a low glycemic index and will help you feel full. Have at least 2 cups of Green Tea and at least 2 different types of fresh seasonal fruits every day. I also recommend including Calcium, Vitamin D and Iron tablets in your diet. I think it can be of great help. This diet plan will not only help with weight loss but also keep you healthy and energetic throughout the day.
